KICKER (1) - Stable Condition
1. Dustin Hopkins
- 2014 Salary - $523,000
- Under Contract - 3 Years through 2016-2017
- Comments - Hopkins is the only kicker on the roster. He was drafted by the Bills last year but was put on the IR with a lower body injury. Bills signed Dan Carpenter who was excellent last year but he is a currently free agent and may be asking for more money than the Bills are willing spend one year after spending a draft pick on the position. Expect the Bills to bring in some competition for Hopkins but he should be the teams kicker when all is said and done heading into the 2014-2015 season.
PUNTER (1) - Stable Condition
1. Brian Moorman
- 2014 Salary - $570,000
- Under Contract - 1 Year through 2014-2015
- Comments - I think Brian Moorman is average at this point in his career. He is a great guy and it was nice for the fans of Buffalo to see him come back last year but he was a free agent during the season for a reason. I expect some competition to be brought in but I think Moorman will be punting into the swirling winds of Ralph Wilson Stadium for one more season.
Long Snapper (1) - Good Condition
1. Garrison Sanborn
- 2014 Salary - $1,096,667
- Under Contract - 1 Year through 2014-2015
- Comments - Don't hear Garrison Sanborn's name enough? That's a good thing when you're a long snapper. Good long snapper, makes some tackles down field and keeps his name out of the announcers mouth otherwise. He will be back next year snapping the ball to Brian Moorman, hopefully a lot less than he had to this year.
